We're a Lutheran organization, and we know what churches actually need, what they can actually afford, and what vendors have been taking advantage of them for years. Augsburg Sites was started because we were tired of seeing congregations get locked into overpriced contracts, bloated platforms, and support lines that go nowhere.

Honest by default

We'll always tell you what we think — including if we're not the right fit. If your church has a good website already, or a simpler tool would serve you better, we'll say so. We're not here to upsell you on things you don't need.

After graduating Concordia University Wisconsin in 2020, I became a professional web developer building enterprise web software for big business. I now live in St. Louis, Missouri with my wife Bonnie and two boys. I started Augsburg Sites in 2026 because I witnessed first hand churches being charged enterprise cost and pointless upsell features for basic websites. We work with you, not at you

Church websites aren't one-size-fits-all. A rural congregation of 80 members has different needs than a mid-size urban parish. We take the time to understand your community, your staff, and your goals — and we build accordingly. If that means a smaller scope, a phased approach, or pointing you somewhere else entirely, that's what we'll recommend.
